Klimatspår AB builds planning and reporting software that helps housing cooperatives retrofit ageing heating systems and track the resulting carbon savings. Founded in Stockholm in 2020, the company now supports roughly 180 housing cooperatives across Sweden, covering close to 14,000 apartments, with tools that model heat-pump sizing, retrofit sequencing and the annual emissions reporting that many cooperatives are now required to file.
The team of around 30 splits between product engineering, a small in-house group of energy analysts who validate retrofit plans before they reach a board vote, and a customer-success team that supports cooperative boards through procurement. Klimatspår's emissions methodology follows the GHG Protocol, and the platform integrates with the district-heating billing data of Sweden's largest suppliers.
